Shirt jacket: Is a 15oz whipcord suitable?

I had some Holland & Sherry 15oz whipcords made up into trousers..... absolutely awesome. Now I am thinking of getting a shirt jacket made up of that stuff. I saw one in wheat and another in brown which I thought could be suitable for a shirt jacket.

Anyone seen these before? Advice? Thanks in advance.

The weight will be fine for cooler days. I have one in unlined 15 ounce flannel that I wear without a sweater underneath when temperatures are in the 50s and 60s F.
