Shirt for a brown DB suit

I mentioned in a different thread that I'm getting a brown DB suit done for my wedding cerimony in Italy. The cerimony/event will happen during the day in the countryside and thus I feel brown is appropriate. I'll probably be wearing a brown tie of a different tone and a yellow pocket square for a tonal look.

I don't quite know what to do with the shirt, though. One option, the most classic, is to go with white. It basically almost always works. However, I was entertening the idea of going with off-white, which I think would look better with the overall outfit; however, I don't know if it's maybe too casual for a wedding (albeit a casual wedding). Opinions? The suit is lightweight and a mix of wool, mohair and silk.

Blue shirt, Navy grenadine tie, white linen square. You really have to go for something that nobody has ever done before.

It depends on the shade of the suit, but it's hard to go wrong with brown and blue.

The brown-white-brown-yellow combination you're describing doesn't sound particularly appealing to me, but perhaps I'm not visualizing it correctly.

I was thinking of something like this.

I personally enjoy brown and off-white for summer, but it's not the most formal look. Depends on the tone of brown as well - a dark, cool brown is very different from tobacco, which is very different from a warm, ruddy brown. Honestly, white (as long as it's not a cool white) with a brown tie is probably going to work perfectly well.

White. Off-white will look dingy.

I think this combo looks good. You can never go wrong with a white shirt and a blue grenadine tie

Might be too casual and depends on the shade of brown, but I really like a white/green striped shirt with a brown suit
