Shirt fit issues

First of all, here's an imgur album showing my problem. So, my sleeves are too long. Easy fix. Buuut when I stretch my arms out, it gets very tight on my upper arm and pulls the sleeve up quite a bit - now, would this be caused by the fact the shoulder seam sits down my arm a bit?

Which brings me onto my second question... I don't wear my shirts with ties, should I instead of getting shirts to fit my neck find ones that fit my chest/shoulders instead?

your pictures are useless except for the one that shows your cuffs are too large.
you cant even move the button enough to make that fir properly.

if you are not wearing a tie, buy a shirt that fits your chest and sleeves not your collar

Can’t tell anything about the fit of your shirt from these pictures. Need pictures of your full torso, no selfies.

Buy someone lunch at work and have them take proper pics for you.

Frankly, you’re probably best off getting some custom made shirts. The one you’re wearing is too large, you can try sizing down, but I recon you need the width around the waist. Properly fitting RTW shirts are difficult to come by unless you coincidentally happen to have the body proportions the shirt maker had in mind (which, my guess, about 5% of the populace will have ;-)

The one in the original post (which, yes, is too large!) or the one in the most recent two photos? Because the shirt in the most recent ones is a lot, lot smaller! As for waist, yeah, I am losing weight at the moment so hopefully that should help. Don't really want to get a custom shirt until I'm done losing weight.

I was referring to the one in the recent post. I do see your concern however with going smaller if the shirt from the first post is tight in the upper arm. Again a reason to go for custom made shirts. Ask around here for some advice and decent tailors that aren’t too expensive. You‘ll find there a quite a few that don’t break the bank and offer a properly fitting shirt at a price-point not much above brand shirts like Hugo Boss etc.
