Can anyone tell me the difference in quality in cotton fabrics produced by different mills? Assuming the same type of weave, the same weight: 2 ply x 2 ply 140's poplin from Albini, Acron and Canclini.
By touching and feeling the fabric (say in a blind test), can someone possibly tell the difference? Or is the supposed difference caused by foreknowledge of which fabric is produed by which mill? In simple words, is the difference real or imagined?
