Shirt collar fit - collar falls during the day

All,

What causes a shirt collar to fall over time at the back of the neck? I have several shirts for which I have to pull the collar back up regularly. Is it because the collar is too soft? Or is it a balance problem between the fron and the back of the shirt?

Thanks,

JD

What do you mean when you say it "falls"?

I don't understand it either. The picture of your "falling collar" would help people understanding your problem a lot better!

My shirt collar falls open in the front (top button unbuttoned with no tie -- button-down collar), which is annoying. I can't imagine how it could fall down in the back - it should already be down.
