I got some M2M shirts made and untucked they fit really well and slim, however, as soon as I tuck them in the front and sides look great but the back looks messed up. It billows a lot and there's no way to fix it, I can't get that flat, even tuck in all the way around my waist. Most people on this forum said M2M shirts will solve this problem, but even that hasn't fixed anything. Will darts help solve this? Are they worth getting or do they just look weird on the back without a blazer?

I'll post pictures soon. The shirts are 17 inches long, and for my body that reaches the bottom of my butt so when I sit down it holds the shirt in place. Can't really make them any longer than that lol

You might need darts or a shirt cut so that the side seams are moved back so there is more room in the front less in the back.

where did you come up with a 17" measurement?
your posture may be that you are very hollow in the back.
there is only so much fabric that can be taken from the side seems before it looks weird.
Darts are your friend

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
