does anyone own a pair? i tried on a pair at barney's and really liked the slim fit, details (suspender buttons, leather patch) and overall feel of the material. the 30 i tried on is a tad snug, however, and was wondering if anyone could comment on the stretchability of these guys, or chino material in general...im guessing it don't stretch much. the sales associate told me the tailor could take the waist out by about 1/2 inch...has anyone done this? and can it be done fairly easily by a competent tailor?

my only gripe about these guys is the price tag: $195 seems a bit steep for chinos...i wonder how much of that is barney's markup...

dont own them but tried them on at coop several weeks back. material was fair, but i felt the stitching was poorly done. i would not pay $195 for these
