shiny but casual shoes?

Picked up these shoes from yoox recently. They are even higher gloss in person. Having read some posts here about not wearing shiny shoes with jeans, could use input on whether that applies to these. To me the lighter welt and sole make them more casual, as well as the derby design. Appreciate feedback.

Very good point - I've got a light tan Boglioli cotton/elastane suit that would be a perfect combo with these. Thanks for the tip.

I think a lot of shoes come with a high gloss low quality polish of some sort out of the factory. I know that quite a few members clean off the factory polish and apply their own. This might be the best approach here if the gloss bothers you.
