I am looking at a pair of shoes and trying to determine if they are shell. These are shoes from the 50's. The pictures are crappy, so I cannot tell if they are shell.

Thanks for the help

The creases dont have any "micro" creases-- looks like shell to me.

Can we have a poll?

I'd vote SHELL.

I vote for shell.
I would also guess that J&M made these. They are a dead ringer for their saddle shape and I know that Frank Bros has rebranded J&M's. Nice find.

Agree 100% with being shell and suspect that the above is also true.
