Just arrived my Ashland Frank the Enforcer custom made Ultraviolet with an extra back pocket and reversed back. So this was Ultraviolet a color they don't currently offer, reversed on the back, extra slot on the back, with Horween ink and hot stamp on the back.

Wow that picture makes the ultraviolet really subtle looking compared to the out of this world brightness of the product pictures

I have found the Ultraviolet really changes in brightness and depth depending on the lighting and angle. Here are 2 photos snapped seconds apart but different angles in bright sun. Something you can't see in the photos is as you move the angle there is a bit of a rainbow effect of purple colors. As you can see I have had this a few weeks now and it is getting some use while I work from home. Overall I think this Frank the Enforcer is a darker richer color when compared to the ultraviolet Bugs Moran I posted before.

Ok so my new Private stock prototype wallet showed up today.

First I have to say I just love the Ultraviolet shell and when I seen this prototype on the Youtube preview I just knew I wanted it.

First the deep purple on the reverse side is exactly what I like and then the contrast of the yellow thread was spot on.

Now yes I have the custom Frank the Enforcer and I have really been liking that wallet. It was just the color of this one with the yellow thread that made me think let me give a bit more minimalist a try.

Now keep in mind in the Frank the Enforcer you can keep bills folder just in half where in this new prototype they will stick out about 4mm. I did not like this so I went with a 3 fold on the bills and that seems to work. These days not paying much in cash so I have decided to only carry a few bills. I carry a $50, $20. $5, and 2 $1s for a total of $77 and I figure this should cover most anything needed cash when credit is not taken.

Also on this prototype I like the dip cut in the center of the wallet this makes removing any cash or cards a bit more easy.

Anyways loaded it up and giving it a test drive.

just received my shell cordovan mid wallet from obbi good label, maker of many iron heart wallets. this wallet is identical to the iron heart mid wallet. hand stitched in singapore.

the leather needs no introduction and the wallet overall is more substantial than expected. thick, rich and heavy. let's see how it ages...

Hey, y’all! So happy to see that this thread is still active. I just wanted to share a little wallet I made last week using some reversed dark cognac and intense blue shell cordovan.

And here is a shot that shows off the texture of that reversed pocket a bit more!

Actually trying to sell it so if you're interested check out my Buy & Sell Ad over in the classifieds

That wallet looks rather... unrefined. And that's being polite. What on earth is with the giant, sloppy stitching? Was this your own amateur attempt at making a wallet? If so, that's understandable and actually not bad. But if this was something you paid retail price for, then yikes. Please let us know so the rest of us can avoid this vendor.

(Looks like a nice piece of shell otherwise.)
