I love shell cordovan...it kills me that the mid tier vendors can rape people on the price for mediocre quality. I do leather working as a hobby and up to now have stayed with gunbelts, holsters and the occasional hand sewn briefcase but started making some minimalist wallets/card holders. My avatar is my personal black shell wallet. I based it on a Barrett Alley version but made it bigger. It's also sewn with kevlar thread to last a lifetime. I saw one of Noah Lambert's "one piece of folded leather" wallets yesterday and was really impressed. I"m using my last piece of black shell to make something similar. Can't wait for my Whiskey shell order to come in from Horweens. Sewing this one up tonight.

Anybody have their BB wallets with a bit of use. Curious to see how the white inside ages. Still debating whether I want to keep my wallet or not

I got rid of all of them. Wallets were too bulky for my taste and the breast wallet was just dated (checkbook?!?!$

Only been using it for about a month, but pretty happy so far. Wish I had been able to get the navy/red one though.

Yeah I keep as little cash as possible. ID, 2 CCs, student ID that I don't need anymore and Insurance card. My current wallet is like half the thickness and still in great shape so I don't really think it's worth the cash for the wallet.

You back from Machu picchu? How was it? I need to go before they close it to visitors

I'm actually headed up there in about 4 hours. Can't sleep with the sound of rats crawling overhead :(

Well I guess I'm not that surprised man... YOLO.

I'm really digging those BBBF wallets... I have a color #8 card holder, it's nice but it has lost its luster from being sat on haha.

This is very nice, definitely would keep it in mind when I'm on the lookout for a new wallet -- but what's with the blue tint in the lower left corner?

Machu Pichu was really cool. Everything I expected as more-Beautilful weather and low humidity. Stevent, did you get your cordovan key case?
