nice work. i've been thinking of getting into leatherworking precisely so I can make my own stuff. how long have you been doing leather work? Do you buy your shell from Horween? Looks good!

Thanks! I started about a year ago and I would recommend working on calf rather than jumping straight into shells. I've had no luck getting shells from horween and other suppliers but I managed to buy a piece from a member in sufu. Best of luck with your venture :)

After losing my Brooks Brothers shell wallet (made by Ganzo in Japan), I picked up a Leffot Fold. Now in minimalist cordovan bliss.

Anyone have photos of the Ashland Little NY with cash/cards in it? Does this item fold in half before you put it in your pocket? I don't think I'm understanding the concept of the "front pocket wallet" (besides the obvious that is supposed to be used in your front pocket), and why its natural fold is offset. Also, any thoughts on the Tony the Ant vs. the Fat Herbie?

For me it's the above + Ventra Chicago transit card, building access card for work, and a few business cards. It's still slim enough for front pocket, but I typically place in back pocket.

Thank you gentlemen. Deciding whether to get the Little NY now or wait and save up for one of their Bi-folds. I don't really switch wallets around and these will probably last a while.

I have a very nice new all shell cordovan wallet made by a master leather craftsman for sale at a very reasonable price:

All shell cordovan inside and out hand sewn with waxed linen, 6 card slots, 2 hidden pockets, 1 paper money holder 4 3/8 X 3 1/2 very heavy full cut Horween shell cordovan. The inner liner of the wallet is also full Horween shell cordoven for the uptmost in durability and quality. If interested PM and I can send more or different pictures.
