What sheets would you use for your perfect bed?

Where would I be able to feel such sheets in NY? (Frette has a store on the upper east side for example)

Against forum advice, I got a set of Frette hotel collection for $225. Anything would be better than what I sleep on now, believe me.

Maybe the next set will be Sferra from the 'bay in the same price range, much higher thread count.

There is also the Frette sample sale in NYC every year. Does anyone know the discounts typically on offer?

€3,450 ($4,579) for a set of king size sheets, plus another €2,080 ($2,762) for a duvet cover! That's a little more than Seven Thousand Three Hundred Forty-One dollars per bed. That is a little Man-RICO.

Thanks to the recommention of a forum member either here or on AAAC, I bought Peter Reed sheets & pillowcases, from Harrods. Can't remember the TC, I think about 400. Well worth the price, which wasn't exactly cheap, but not insane either. Best of all, they seem to get softer with every wash. Excellent sheets. Pair the pillowcases with Harrods A1 Hungarian goose down pillows and you'll be very comfortable indeed!

EDIT - Reading through the topic, I see Full Canvas has linked to my earlier thread on this topic! It must have been the AAAC version that someone recommended Peter Reed.

EDIT 2 - yep: http://askandyaboutclothes.com/forum...ight=bed+linen
