I suppose SF is just too gentlemanly for such measures... or for Black Magic.

I have read many posts by relatively new users regarding their posts being reviewed and not showing up. Meanwhile, how do these spammers manage to spam-flood with seemingly impunity?

Because our spam filter is clearly not perfect. And no, we do not have paid moderators, nor do our partners at the Huddler provide them. We also pay for and coordinate our own editorial content.

i believe the mods have said, that they prefer us to report spam by flagging them, or if they get real bad, report in transmod. bumping threads without content is less preferable. so i am told anyways.
