Then you need to modify your poll to display these options (examples in parentheses):

    Eclectic Combiners (Voxsartoria, Phat Guido)
    Stalwart Stalwarts (Manton)
    Eccentric Haters (Mafoofan)
    The Neapolitan Libertarian Brigade (Iammatt)
The Skinny Sleeve Syndicate (Most everyone else)
Skinny Goomba (Skinny Goomba, Mother of Skinny Goomba, Cat of Skinny Goomba)

I surprised that the Purists aren't running away from it. I guess I would have formed this impression given how much the Purists dominate the MC board.

At any rate, given that I have both lime green and Nantucket Red chinos, I vote eclectics.

I feel that in the Goomba household, Skinny is the Eclectic, while the dark brown cat is the Purist.

    Mother would be middle ground.

I should change the name to 'The Skinny Sleeve' Goomba.

Feels more like an old school gangster name.

'Oh no, the skinny sleeve's about to put him down for the dirt nap'

How are we defining purists? I would have thought purist would denote the Esquire 1930s plates which are a riot of color and patterns all mixed in an outfit.

That poll would amount to some sort of popular proclamation of a dear leader, or duumvirate, or democracy (in the pejorative sense of the term, of course). Not quite what I had in mind -- I prefer to see cunning oligarchic factions backstabbing each other for the sake of some vague ideology.

Wow, I've been used by FNB to set his latest Manton Trap.

I'm not sure how I feel about that. Definitely amused. Slightly used.

Don't sweat it. You are merely a pawn in my plan for pan global sartorial fora domination.

Do I need to prepare a campaign platform?

I'm not sure what we're voting on, but am happy to be winning.
