I'm going to have to fire my spies in Austin. This lapse of intelligence is unconscionable.

It looks like I will be driving down alone this time. How should I plan my day?

I know there are Brooks Brothers and AE together as well as Culwell & Son for Alden (Dick has been helpful in the past). Stanley Korshak has a couple of Edward Greens in stock. Anything else you guys have that I am overlooking?

Sounds like you're heading for a shoe bender. Well, there's also Pocket's at Highland park village which does Zegna among others as well as Lombardo's further north. There is of course the Downtown Niemann's as well. Moving away from shoes there's also Mallasadi's up near Lombardo's off dallas north tollway as well as Gariani's. Elsewhere around town there's Matthew's Custom Clothing, R.W. Furr Custom Clothier, Q Custom Clothier, and K.T. Ratan among various and sundry others.

My knowledge of most of these is limited to internet snooping though. Gariani is nice and is the local agent for Pancaldi ties. I've bought plenty of good stuff there. Mallasadi does custom Italo Ferretti ties and stocks Brioni and Belvest suits. The rest I know from thinking about finding a custom shop for suits and jackets in the area, and these are the ones up on the list... along with a dark horse that shall remain nameless.

Ok, so then nobody seems opposed to the 21st, right?

For the 21st? Dallas. Unless you're talking where specifically around Dallas, at which point I would float somewhere in North Dallas, since that's Plano, Frisco, Richardson side of things.
