^^ No. It's being sold by a receiver as it is part of a lawsuit right now. Once a price is accepted they will then allow for overbids by approved buyers. It could turn into a mess.

I think it would make a great office. Also potential to turn the water into something. 10K gallons per day bubble up through the cisterns.

I think we need to buy it for the SF clubhouse.

This is the home I grew up in. It was up for sale recently so my mom sent a pic from the listing agency. It had much nicer landscaping once upon a time when my Mom took care of it, but it's still quaint.

Can you imagine a house of that size being placed on a lot that large these days? There'd be three garage bays and at least twice the square footage.

They could build a 15 floor apartment block on a plot that size, have probably 500 people living there.

Moved out of the house and into a rental with a roommate... Place is full of cheap mass-produced flat-pack furnitures:

Damn man...I'd switch to all ikea furniture if it meant I could live there (as long as I could still afford a gallon of white paint).

Thanks guys, wasn't sure if I'd catch flack here for having so much Ikea, which is pretty much everything except the TV stand which I made myself and main couch. But with spacing and layout it turned out perfectly the way I envisioned when I first saw the place unfurnished.

Haha as for the white paint, the opposing wall is beige, so the darkness is actually not that overwhelming. It was originally that dark brown and was planning on going entirely beige since I had to re-paint anyways to patch some holes left over by shelves. I was convinced to keep it dark by a few women at work saying how much sexier it is with colour, so decided to keep it. I am very glad we kept it dark.

Nice place Sonick. It looks cool withe guitars sitting around. I also really like those speakers, what are they? The artwork is interesting and works perfectly with the room as well.

    Thanks Brian!

The speakers are Athena ASB2's, a Canadian speaker company that also builds Energy and Paradigm speakers. The artwork was actually a graphic from the GAP store that I worked at during university and took home. I am a self-pronounced music buff and audiophile, so it suits me well.

    That's a sick pad, Sonick. I'm jealous.

Can't wait to move into a place like that (I will, eventually!).

I love the feel of this place. Lots of character.

Can't wait to see it with furniture/stuff in it.
