Picked out the fountain we shall have in our courtyard.

Make sure you know how much noise that makes.

An excellent point. There is actually a local place that sells nothing but fountains and water features, and they have most of their stock installed and functioning in a large outdoor showroom. I can tell you, this is very quiet, with just a quiet, pleasant sound. It also has nearly zero splash, which is something we wanted. The local water is very hard, and we've noticed people that get fountains with a lot of splash, quickly have stained and mineralized paving stones. To counter that, we purposely picked a low splash one, and will set it in a ring of coloured gravel, so no paving stones to stain.

I'm new to the site, but here's home for me for the last few months, it's the white building.

I have been living in Tour-de-Peilz too! In a different house though [IMG] And for only about a mont. Afterwards I moved to Clarens.

This is the house I was living in, pretty damn close to yours:

A couple of pics from my favorite "room" in the house, (my back deck.)

One taken this past Saturday morning at sunrise, the other from a few weeks ago.

One of my favorite threads on SF. The cribs in Switzerland are especially nice.

My parents are building a house right now...The design of the house isn't anything special (actually pretty boring in my opinion) but they're furnishing it with some really nice stuff. Will post pics when it's done in a couple months.
