SF Access Intermittent at ~ 1am LA time?

SF gets spotty access at about 1am LA time a few times a week. Webpages usually timeout. Traffic issue? Mods feel free to delete thread if I'm just being annoying.

No, is here in Germany/Switzerland too. Usually between 9:00 - 10:00 (can't judge earlier cuz I'm only in office before 9:00 if there's a meeting).

Is a tough thing to work for a whole hour without being able to surf the forum

It actually starts at midnite LA time.

I remember seeing this question a week or so ago. The big man says that this is when the forum servers do their nightly backups. He is working with the server people to try to smooth things out.

+1. It used to happen a bit earlier, like 11 Eastern, but IIRC, J had it moved back a couple hours so it affected less people.

Happens to me too. It is irritating a bit, but on the whole I'm glad. Makes me shut off my computer and go to sleep.

We can't have that! I'll bug them again. For some reason that support ticket got closed without anything being solved.
