Hi, I'm a seventeen year old looking to start a new wardrobe. I've gotten a little taller, so my clothes don't fit me as well as they used to, and I just want to improve how I dress. Right now my wardrobe consists of t-shirts, jeans, and hoodies. Fit is said to be the most important thing. I don't really know what kind of body type I'm considered to have, so I've taken my measurements. They are: Height-5' 11'' Neck-16'' Sleeve length-40'' Chest-43'' Waist-36'' Belly button-38'' Hips-36'' Inseam-32'' Sleeve length-40'' (Some of these could be wrong) I'm about 200lbs if that helps. Obviously, I'll be dressing casually most of the time. However I'm in a band and want to wear a suit, or go in that direction. I'll also be going back to school soon and, as this year is my last year, my uniform has changed. I will be wearing a navy blazer (which I think I will have to get tailored) and navy trousers. I live in a mild climate. The temperatures aren't very high usually, and it rains a lot. Also, coming back to the band element, we will be busking soon, and hope to do so regularly. I've been thinking of where to start and from looking around I've come up with this list: ->Some sport shirts ->Some darker jeans ->Suit pants ->Dress shirt ->Dress boots (Does this make sense on account of all the rain?) ->Overcoat ->Casual footwear ->Belt Does this seem okay? From what I understand now, flat front pants that sit more on my natural waist are what I'm looking for. Colours are the next thing. I've come the conclusion of of Grey suit, brown boots and brown belt. I'm a little unsure of where to look with regards to casual jackets. It seems to me it's mostly sports coats, which seem relatively casual. So that's what I've been thinking so far. I'm only just starting off. I don't really have all that much money, so if anyone had any advice or tips it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
