^ not so.

Had a client lose 80 lbs once, gain it back and then lose 90 lbs. The second time around it was more in his upper body than the first weight loss. Everyone loses weight in different places for some reason. Losing weight in the waist and seat is the most common but not a hard and fast rule.

Unless you were really obese, men do not change size just because they dropped 20-30 lbs. There is no fat on your shoulders and the bones stay the same size so even if you lost 20lbs jackets will still fit. They'll just fit better. Men lose weight around the waist mostly but there's no need to taper the jackets. Just wear them.
-1. Jacket also takes into account chest size. You lose 50 pounds, you don't think the girth of your body and chest are also going to be slimmed down as well?

So if a body builder stops lifting and drops 30-50 pounds, he is going to be the same size? You realize there are muscles, fat, structure, etc. This was an epic failure on your part.
