I'm looking for an semi-casual chukka boot, something along the lines of this Alden boot:

It's not a shoe I plan to wear frequently, so I'm not looking to break the bank. Ideally, I'm looking to spend $150 or less. Any help? Everything I see at that price point is garishly chunky with a massive sole. I've done A LOT of searching, but unless I want to spend $350-400 I have no ideas.

Any ideas?

the soles may be a bit too large for your tast but I highly recommend Ron Rider. He's a SF member and has great quality shoes/boots on eBay, like these Martegani chukkas for $205 BIN (take another 30% off with MS live):

Loake Kempton's are a lot slimmer than they appear in photo's and even the dainite soled versions are far from heavy - presumably the Tyrwhitt versions are the same.
