Perhaps a but unusual question but I bought a a pair of Edwin Rainbow selvedge a couple of months ago and Im not completly satisfied with the result. The thing is that I want my denim to stay as much as possible in the same condition as when I bought them.
The Rainbow selvedge has faded too much and Im thinking of buying a pair of Edwin Nashwille selvedge instead. Now for the question, how should i care for my jeans so they dont fade too much and gets cuts etc? Should i wash them at once instead of waiting a couple of months?

The fact that it is selvedge has nothing to do with the fading. It's all in the fabric and dyes. Washing will more uniformly fade the jeans, but won't stop them from fading. If anything they'll fade faster with more washing, just not high contrast.

Im currently wanting to buy a burberry raw denim jacket but it has the checkered wool lining inside.. any ideas on how to wash and care for it? Soak it like i would do raw jeans or dry cleaners? If anyone can help that would be great thanks
