1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

.5 is insignificant to be fcuking with a 450 $ pair of jeans. if you feel good with the fit, great. don't mind the critics. but, pls don't change how they were designed and constructed. there's that chance you might not like the outcome... then you're really gnna be disappointed.

FWIW, I think the top block looks fine. They won't seem so baggy after hemming, but depending on what he's used to wearing/prefers to wear, the hem might still be too big.

I agree with Kiya on this. After hemming I think they will fall a lot better and have a nice straight leg look. Just depends if you wanted a tight fit or not. I'm just not in the boat that every pair of jeans needs to be tight and fit immaculate.

look at the selvedge tracks, already visible[IMG]. after they are less stiff, they'll fall better. I thought this jean wasn't supposed to be super slim but just a straight fit.

i gathered that its sort of a black/blue from the SE pics close up pics. however, the model fit pics look quite black from a distance. aypeeone's basically look like a really dark indigo. interesting.

I actually like the fit on those jeans, when one day they're white and soft, they'll fall nice.

Had to wait for some things with my Paypal account to clear up. They did, but the last two pairs in 33 just got snapped up in the last couple hours. Bummer.

I agree, I think I'll wear mines cuff for couple weeks and then get it hem'd.

yeah, bummer. need a 32-33, as well. i was going to drop by SENY this wendnesday for fitting. SE shoulda ordered more mid-sizes of the bk. anyway, maybe there's still hope__ they're garment over-dyes, so maybe if the indigo sale hits a slump, Kiya can throw a few pairs in the dye vat [IMG][IMG]

Will these fade fast? Or slow like the 21ozer?

They'll fade quickly, closer to what FH's denim fades like, the denim on these has very little in common with the denim from IH's regular line.

Yeah I'm doing this as well. They're already falling better than they did earlier in the week. The fit is really perfect, too. Not too slim but flattering and utilitarian. More dogs should design pants.

[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] just kidding!!!!!!! i was watching USPS the whole time but fedex just dropped them off!!!!!!!! they're not as slim as the sidney pics and look similar (but blacker) to the previous fit pics. i think i'm a little taller than that dude, as well. the fuller cut is a welcome relief and will be a welcome addition to winter wear and boots. these things are sick. prob gonna do the cuff until hem method, too, but i want to see if i can get used to a black on black cuff first. will post pics tomorrow.

Well, I went against what everyone said and I am glad I did. I took them to my tailor and had him take them in about 0.5" all the way down from the thigh and I am so much happier with the fit now. I think its a perfect fit for me and am extremely happy. Also had them hemmed to about 32.5" in length now, still a bit long but should settle nicely [IMG]
