O△X “OG WYTE” Denim Jacket and Studio D'Artisan Jeans and Workshirts

The first release from O△X is here! This is a new line designed and produced by Studio D’Artisan and we’re proud to be the only retailer outside of Japan stocking it. The first release is the OG Wyte denim jacket. Vintage indigo-dyed kimono fabrics from over 100 years ago are cut into triangles then sewn together to create a new pattern. This "quilt" is then applied to the denim before the entire garment is hard washed to lighten the indigo shade of the denim and kimono fabric.

We also have new jeans and denim workshirts from Studio D'Artisan. The jeans are made of a 15oz pure-indigo rope-dyed denim woven on Japan’s famed G3 Toyoda looms. These come in SDA’s slim tapered fit and we’ve had this new run lightly rinsed to get rid of the shrinking for you already.

The denim workshirts are made of a 14oz SDA developed selvedge denim and are finished with uera cat’s eye buttons, gusseted side seams, and chainstitch run-off. Get em now at all stores.

Poten Winter Collection of Japanese Baseball Caps

Poten’s Winter Collection of Caps are here!

This season we see Poten doing their caps in three all new fabrics. We have a navy colored nylon, a very nice lightweight brushed poly in black, and a wild ass olive watercolor camo nylon. These hats are crazy nice, nicer than any other straight ahead baseball cap we've ever seen.

Every cap style has a super soft and supple inner leather headband which has been lightly treated so it’s not destroyed by sweat.

The caps have zero exterior branding except for the stitches which you can see from the top of the crown from the interior branding tags being sewn into the center of the crown. The cap has a medium height crown and the brim has a medium length to it with 19 concentric stitches which feel and look pretty cool in person. If you're into baseball caps, you'll love what Poten is doing.

Pure Blue Japan's SR-013 Super Rough denim jeans are here. This is the most impressive fabric we've seen from PBJ in quite some time. This 18oz denim is woven at a very low tension with a super short staple cotton, giving the fabric extreme character. These feel and look amazing even when new and are sure to look insane with some wear.

Rick Owens 18oz Lacquered Denim Ramones

We’re excited to announced that we’re adding Rick Owens’ footwear line to the Made in Japan denim collection which we’ve been stocking for the past few seasons. We now have the Ramone high-top sneaker made out of an 18oz lacquered denim. This starts out as an 18oz heavyweight Japanese denim that’s lightly clear lacquered, you can still see the denim weave pattern right through the lacquer and over time the lacquer will come off to reveal the black denim base.

If you're referring to the dark which is in the thigh area of the jeans it slims out the thigh a little bit from the front of the inseam area, it's subtle but noticeable. What's really nice is how it ages over time with the seam becoming more visible as the denim ages with wear, you can really start to see it after 4 or 5 months of wear.

Poten rarely every makes the same cap twice, so there are no plans for them to make more of that cap. We get new caps every season and generally the common sizes sell out within a few weeks. Next release is April 1st.
