Sorry but no plans for SG to make black denim, and we won't be doing a black jean with them in the near future.
BUT... we do have special black jeans coming from Studio D'Artisan, Rick Owens, and Sugar Cane, all three made for Self Edge.

Is the Sugar Cane black model different from the current double black type IIIs? I have outgrown my old pair and ready for a new one, but may wait if something new is coming in.

On a similar note, will you be bringing in the Sugar Cane AI in size 33, or will it be even sizes only?

The new black SC jean will be different from the current double black jean in both fit and details.

We'll have that new AI jean in June 5th and yes we'll have all sizes, not just even sizes.

Do you know if 3sixteen has ever considered doing a run of shadow selvedge cargo shorts, or has SE considered it? I’m not sure how popular or unpopular they’d be but I’d love a pair.

You know.. we've found that shorts made of heavy/rigid fabrics are a very hard sell. We have over 45 models of shorts at Self Edge Mexico and we've learned a lot about shorts over the past 5 years. One thing we've definitely found is that people want their shorts to be comfortable and for the fabric to drape nicely, which is something denim doesn't really do unless it's very lightweight and been heavily rinsed.

I hear ya. What if it was a 12oz rinsed shadow selvedge denim? I figured since IH has the 12oz serge cargo shorts then maybe there’s a market for a 3sixteen version. I don’t see many US denim companies doing cargo shorts. But, I understand if it’s not feasible to do.

Rick Owens' summer collection is here! We've got garment-dyed black denim jeans and jackets, black heavy fleece hoodies, and crewneck sweaters in Rick's signature DUST color.

The jeans and jacket are made of a 100% cotton Japanese denim which has been garment dyed black then heavily rinsed for a great hand-feel with a little variance in shade between areas of the garment. The TECUATL Jason hoodie is a standout item from this season with some seriously cool intricately layered black canvas across the front on a custom heavy fleece. Lastly there's a crewneck sweater in a signature Rick Owens color called DUST, these are cut longer in the body than the other crewneck sweaters we carry and have a great fit if you're looking for something less vintage looking but still want a very nice crewneck sweater.

3sixteen Pima Cotton Blank T-Shirts

After years of making some of the best tees money can buy 3sixteen has released a new version of their blank t-shirt 2-packs. These are made of an American grown Pima long staple cotton and come in a fuller fit compared to their heavyweight t-shirts. These t-shirts have a softer hand compared to the heavyweight version, are cut a little longer and fuller in the body, and have been lightly rinsed.
