How should the flat head leather and silver bracelet fit/be worn? I have it right on my wrist below the bone that sticks out (closer to my hand). It's tight, but not constricting. I can spin it around, but it leaves a red mark. Don't want it to be too tight, but the next size up is .5 inches bigger which may be too much. I sound crazy.

You should be fine, it stretches a tad bit and becomes really soft with a little bit of wear.

Oh man, beautiful shirt. I was just going to say Al in North Beach could make a very similar bespoke shirt for about the same price. Scrolled down to find it IS a shirt by Al [IMG]

RESTOCK OF THE NEVER ON SUNDAY SHIRT

Same shirt, slightly different fabric, .5oz. heavier and it's a super dark indigo/black denim. It's almost black indigo colored, all other details are exactly the same.

Self Edge & Pote Tin Kyriaki - The Never on Sunday Shirt

The Greek tragedy, captured on film from the beginning of time... Yet maybe never as gracefully as Jules Dassin's version, Pote Tin Kyriaki (Never on Sunday), shot in 1958 in the port town of Piraeus, Greece.

Homer, an American, travels to Greece to find the meaning of life, and instead finds himself captured by the love of life within a Greek prostitute. Capturing the life and zeitgeist of Greece in the late 50's, Jules Dassin made film history as Never on Sunday became an international hit and the best known Greek film ever made.

Late within the film as Homer begins to realize that his beliefs are not what holds true any more in modern Greece, he is seen wearing a black denim western shirt. In celebration of Never on Sunday and in homage to the recently deceased Jules Dassin, Self Edge has reproduced this same shirt.

INDIGO/BLACK denim from Cone Denim's White Oak collection, vintage deadstock buttons, hand sewn button holes, and blue/white/blue cuff button hole colors representing the Greek colors bring together the design behind this shirt. Pocket flaps Incorporated into the pattern turn into an arcuate design for the front chest with button accents.

The Pote Tin Kyriaki shirt is now available in-store and in our online store, check the online store for measurements and specs:http://www.selfedge.com/shop/index.p...index&cPath=75

Iron Heart 301S Slim Selvedge & 9301 Slim Super Black Jeans

After ten years of producing the most intensely heavy weight jeans in the world, Iron Heart has introduced their first slim cut jean. This is answer for anybody looking for a slim jean that will last far longer than any other jean in the world.

The 301S by Iron Heart is their newest flagship slim model with the silhouette designed by both Self Edge and Iron Heart; finally bringing their signature 21 ounce selvedge denim to a slim cut jean with a longer inseam than Iron Heart's past models. These are made with hand picked Zimbabwe Cotton that is known for it's unusually long fibers which give this denim a super soft hand. Due to the slim cut of the jean, there is no selvedge out-seam, but the denim itself is the usual 21oz selvedge denim that Iron Heart produces.

Also available is the 9301, a 22 ounce black denim version of the 301S with black stitch, black arcuates, black leather tag, and a red outseam inner stitch.

Iron Heart denim is known for it's ultra sheen and extreme durability due to it's heavy weight. Almost any other company attempting to produce denim this heavy would end up with a very stiff and rigid fabric, where as Iron Heart's denim is suprisingly pliable considering it's weight.

Photographed and modeled by Sidney Lo.

These are now available in-store and in our online store from sizes 28 to 38 in both black and indigo. Check the online store for more photos, specs, and measurements:

    $350?

is that a joke? I understand they have nice construction and fabric but still.

Is $400 going to be the new norm soon?

Ironhearts come from the UK and the pound is soo weak. I don't know how you justify that.

    What are you talking about?
Iron Heart is a Japanese brand, made in Japan, and has absolutely nothing to do with the UK.
And as if you haven't noticed, the YEN is extremely strong right now.

I bet this almost stopped the project. Did you cry the night you found out about this? I think I would have.

For those interested in these I can tell you the denim itself is down right amazing. It looks plain to the naked eye but is a really neat fabric. Must be worn to be believed. Seriously.

It honestly would have bothered me if it was something that you would cuff, but this is quite a slim modern cut jean, flipping the cuff is still going to look great, but it's not the vintage selvedge look that's the selling point here, it's more the amazing fabric and construction coupled with a slim modern fit.

Very good point. These are made for the stackz. Wow, actually it would be really neat to see how this awesome, heavy denim stacks. Hmmm. I'll encourage Braid to take the plunge so I can check this out in person.

I am in love with the blacks. Any explanation for new arcs? Not a fan of the cruve.

Just because they have a UK distributor doesn't mean that they're British. Flat Head also has a UK site (admittedly it's still under construction,) but they're about as British as Samsung. I think that us Brits just have to accept that after years of having a really strong currency, that we're going to be shafted on foreign exchange for the next couple of years.

Welcome to the club! The Aussie dollar has weakened from US$0.98 to US$0.64 in the last 6 months [IMG]. We have to pay 600 bucks for those new IHs....
