holy crap - is there someone here who made acquaintance with these stilettos ?

Women's Self Defense Using Spike High Heels is a growing group of women who demonstrate "how to humble dangerous, arrogant men in threatening situations with spike high heels as weapons." In other words, "Kick them in the groin very, very hard."

The actors in the Women's Self Defense video productions leave no room for men to be mean. While this could potentially be a very good way to defend yourself, I personally think this has more to do with fetish and role play. It does not help that the girls in the pictures look like Berlin hookers. The second clue is the site's statement that all models are over the legal age requirements.

Unless the woman is really athletic, she's going to have a really wobbly base under her as she tries to kick. This probably works best in fetish videos. I think mace or something like that would be a lot more effective.

When I saw this thread, I thought it was going to a question about what the best dagger for defensive carry would be, not high heeled shoes used as weapons.

I knew one woman who pulled off her high-heeled shoe and beat the hell out of her husband with it. He had it coming.

What an interesting shoe. It's like a shoe on top of a shoe. Thom Browne 2009?

The mugger is an idiot, why did'nt he approach the victim sideways and come in close like a good mugger should.....

Anyways, the whole concept is idiotic and probably dangerous for the female involved....

I remember reading a story a few months ago on Yahoo about a japanese guy who purposely got into fights with women so they would kick him in the nuts because it was his fetish.
