"Selected" brand shirts?

A couple of local (non-chain) stores here have started carrying a line of clothes -- dress shirts, pants, outerwear mostly -- called "Selected". They seem to be Zara-ish in fit, quality and price point, or maybe more Club Monaco but at Zara's prices. One of the stores carrying it used to also carry mostly higher-priced streetwear, but has since split into a denim-oriented and dressier shop side by side. I was surprised to find Selected in their dressier shop because it didn't seem to match their usual price point.

I've been unable to find out much about them because they're impossible to Google for. Any thoughts on that brand?

Where is the Selected line made?
Look at the tags for a CA number. This number will most likely correspond to a manufacturer or importer. You can look the number up somewhere on the Canadian government website.

In scandinavia there is a danish brand called Selected that fits your profile, see www.selected.dk

It's not very good quality stuff however, and if it's the same brand then it might be more expensive in the US and it's not even worth the retail they're charging for it here so be careful =)

Aha, yeah, that's it, thanks. It didn't seem like very good quality just by price alone, but it didn't seem awful either. What well-known brands would you say the quality is similar to?

Quality is on par with Zara, even though Zara has some better quality items at the their higher pricepoints. Selected shirts retail for about $50-60 here

Aha. Zara's the level I'm after right now, but the closest one is a couple of hours away, so that's helpful, thanks!
