Seersuckers: Shorts or Pants

I would go with a khaki/tan seersucker especially if you end up going for pants. It's a little less 'just came from the yacht club' (or worse 'want to look like I just came from the yacht club').

I have rl polo pants I like in khaki seersucker, they came hemmed though. I think you have to go with something fairly subtle on top if you don't want to look too conspicuous or fashiony. I go with a pale blue OCBD mostly.

As for red and gray seersucker--While I'm really into switching some boring things up, I think that between a dark navy and a khaki, there's a good enough deal of variation...that being said, I could definitely feel a red, but the exact color would be essential to my decision

I will say I've seen black seersucker here and again (pretty rare), when it has been the case it really seems off. Bout one of the worst colors I can think of for it, seems way out of place.

I've seen black seersucker and also thought it looked awful.
