I recently got an overwhelming urge for a red seersucker suit. (Red stripes on white, that is.) I thought Paul Stuart would have it, but it turns out they only have some faux seersucker thing, a silk-and-linen fabric with red and white stripes but without the crinkle.
So I'm half thinking of getting one made, and was wondering if there's a strong opinion as to whether or not the coat should be lined. My current Paul Stuart (blue) seersucker suit is unlined, but I do like fancy linings, and the thought of a summery lining is tempting.
Any other stylistic thoughts people have about seersuckers? I've had a few and they differ in various ways (patch pockets, with/without flap, ticket pocket, etc.).
