Thoughts on being rumpled for the summertime?

Good brands and fits you may like too.

Not sure why everyone thinks those are your only options for summertime, you can find some pieces that are paper thin cotton just as effective for staying cool.

Madras and seersucker are both cotton.

I'm still looking for the perfect seersucker suit, but no luck. I like them both for the summer, but it's more New England preppy wear than what we normally would wear here in L.A. or southern California. My roommate is a Princeton University alumni and I've never seen him wear seersucker.

I'm looking for some cooler, smaller labels to see what they are doing.

I know Gitman Bros Vintage has a ton of Madras this summer. Anyone think of anyone else?

I have some great pair of classic seersucker pants (in a slim straight fit) from an english designer most on this board would care for...

Madras is something I haven't delved into yet, but then I have some other wardrobe holes to assess first.

I'm planning on some seersucker shorts this summer. They're actually on sale on the JCrew website right now. Don't buy them out until I buy some on Friday
