Yea, I've seen some wares from this store that I've liked.. (EG shoes, Santoni Fatte a Mano) and they are ALL overpriced. At least a $100 markup from where he probably purchased them (RLPL sale, Yoox)... not sure he'll ever get my business unless they sell something I just HAVE to have.

The price may be a tad high by ebay terms for this seller but I've found his service impeccable and the quality of the goods are first rate. You won't be second guessing whether something is really new, etc.

Having said that, because his prices are on the high side by ebay terms I agree for his goods it's best to wait until you see a "gotta have it."

That's the canvassed line.

It looks like it may be the model I tried on in Barney's last fall. If so, the button stance is bizarrely high, two to three inches above the natural waist. Canvassed.

Yes, used, and a 180* different style from the Armani. Which is why I'm so amused at the uproar over Armani's comments--they were meant to appeal to his customer base, not the usual SR customer. Yet to see how insulted people get, most of whom have never bought bespoke, including from SR, is hilarious.

Just to clarify, the Oxxford suit that I bought, like the Armani, was also new with tags. Plus it was a 2006 Radcliffe model as well. They currently sell at Bergdorf's for $3200.

I do agree that they appeal to entirely different buyers, though.

OK, my fault, must have misread the auction. Don't get me wrong either, that's a great suit, and NWT a really great deal.
