seeking SF approval on some ties

If you like the ties, you'll wear them. Are you going to opt for a tie that everyone here says they like, if you yourself hate it?

no, i wouldn't wear a tie that i hate just because others say they like it
but if what i like and what SF members like overlaps, then i know i'm in a good place

those 3 are all made by Theory the solid purple is Elie Tahari(?) checkered one is the bloomingdale's brand i got them all at bloomingdale's 50% sale on many ties

i bought this checkered silk tie the other day how's this one?

i think i'll keep this one ^ and return the one in the first post now most of the new ties are pretty skinny i think most of them are about 2.5" are skinny ties too trendy? i don't want to not be able to wear these after a year or two edit - 1 is 2.75" (the gray checker) 2 are 3" (herringbone and grenadine) 2 are 3.25" (the solid purple and the other check pattern) only the skinny tie that i'm wearing is 2.5

2.75-3" would be fine, but 2.5" is pushing it. The one in the pic looks narrower than I would like.

already on it the store ordered the smaller size shirt for me to exchange should be arriving in a few days the tie width is measured at the widest point, right?
