I have recently inherited a vintage Black top frame bag that had never previously been used. On the first day I proudly took it out and despite being extremely careful carrying it around, I noticed two small nicks to the case. I am now concerned that the more I use it the more it will get scratched. On other shades of the briefcase (Havana, London Tan and Chesnut) the scratches blend in and actually look good. On a black case, the little white scratches dont look great.
Any advise from owners of Bridle leather bags on the best method to maintain these cases, while keeping them looking good. What should I be using to cover the white scratches?
Any advice is welcome.
