Hello all

Would anyone happen to know how to get rid of scratches on the side of a shoe last? Is there a marker you can buy to touch it up?

No, its not the leather upper but the actual last/sole. The side of it is covered in scratches.

Yes, I am. Hhhmmm...I tried using shoe polish, but it just wiped off. Maybe my technique was wrong?

Edge dressing is essentially a dye for the edge of your shoe's sole and heel. It covers up scuffs and marks. You can get it at any shoe shop or department store. But be careful with it -- it stains, and can be hard to control. You don't want to get it on the shoe's upper, or on furniture or the like.
