What have been your experiences shopping on scoopynyc.com? Are they good about returns if items don't fit? How is there customer service? Also, does anyone know of any good discount codes?

Thanks

I have made several purchases from Scoopnyc and I really like them. Their shipments always arrive quickly and I haven't had any problems with returns (I have returned a lot of stuff to them).

They usually don't have coupons as far as I know, but I think they had one earlier this summer which might still works. Check out reesycakes.com

I have had good experiences as well. I picked up two dries van norten shirts and a hartford one. It was pretty easy to return the one shirt I didn't like.

another thumbs up on scoopnyc.com. however, they seemed to have recently implemented the dreaded Final Sale where returns are not allowed on Final Sale items so be on the lookout for those.

but returns i have made have been quick and hassle free. and their product selection is pretty decent. some favorite purchases of mine have been the Dries Von Noten and Paul Smith (not the super high end ones) dress shirts.

and if the James Perse thermals are still on sale for $19 i'd highly highly recommend them. really, really thick cotton and more substantial then you'll find from the mass market retailers out there.

oh, one minor annoyance about Scoop is their online inventory system. it doesn't seem to get updated all that often (well, at least to someplace like Yoox) so if you see something you like at a good price, i'd grab it asap.

Does Scoop have good deals on PS and DVN? Whenever I've been in their boutiques their sale stuff seems to be only like 10-30% off retail.

i've never been to the brick and mortar stores but it seems like scoopnyc.com has stuff on sale all the time. i got two Dries dress shirts size 40 in light blue and lime green for $59 a piece. the Paul Smith dress shirt was a blue and white check for $55. both of the shirts are made in Italy so i'm sure the retail price on them had to be above $100. according to Scoop, the retail price on the shirts was around $195 but i've stopped trusting retailers retail prices. either way, the shirts are great.

BTW, it's good to have you back at the SF.
