Any opinions when comparing the best sheets from Schweitzer Linens (http://www.schweitzerlinen.com - they seem to have 1180 thread sheets, but I haven't gone there to check it out yet) to Sferra Bros Milos, Frette, Pratesi, or other high quality sheets?

While I cannot speak from personal experience about Schweitzer Linens, I will interject that a focus upon thread count may result in disappointment. Forum members may find the linked illustrated primer to be of interest. The example is one of many educational texts to be found with a search engine and little effort. Be mindful that this discusses thread count for bed linen, not for shirting. Shirting cloth is another subject altogether.

Our best linens are not those with the highest claimed thread count. Sadly, we learned this the hard way!
