Ah forget you.

My school has been cancelled for ~3 months, and it is annoying as hell. **** you York University.

Education is important, you shouldn't be grateful that you're missing out on it.

I relish this opportunity to be a hardass almost as much as I relished discovering a way to skip half a day of school every day without it being counted as an absentee while in highschool.

My damn college never closed school for anything, prolly not even a nuclear strike. Well, maybe... But canceled classes can be a double-edged-sword. It can help you out if you're behind other work/classes, which is a good thing. The other side of it is that you might have to do double the work to make up for the missed class, which really sucks. But hey, enjoy it.

I miss out university even if there's nothing canceled.
I call that academic freedom.

I hate hearing this. Always makes me feel a tad guilty.

Ah, to be in school again. Even better, in high school, where you still live at home, don't have to worry about tuition, eating, or rent. Just worry about gas for your car and drinking money on the weekend. Life was good.

Enjoy it while you can.

Me too!!! Yeah, one of the joys of teaching is when teh kiddies don' go... we don' go either! Offices are closed, too, so I'm staying in and watching "Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day."

EDIT: Just heard that in Cincinnati/Hamilton County it's been elevated to a Level 3 Snow Emergency... which means Rescue/Emergency vehicles ONLY on the roads (they can ticket you if you are out and about). Dayummmmm....
