Jokes aside, I'm wearing my recently received Floris 1962. Man, this is some seriously high quality stuff. Similarities to Tom Ford Italian Cypress are obvious, but I like this a lot more because it gives me room to breathe. Amazing scent.

With the strength of currency exchange at the moment do any of you American users have a European store you like to order from? Harrods only seems to export certain things. Seeing Frederic Malle perfumes for $120 off what they retail for in the US is very tempting.

I used to order from essenza nobile, but then they jacked up their shipping charges. I haven't checked them recently.

The dollar has actually lost against the pound recently. In any case, it appears Harrod's charges £25 to ship eligible items to the US.

Looking at Harrod's Malle selection, it's not clearly indicated what size bottles are in some cases. For instance the POAL (appears to 100ML?) and is priced at $283.19 with taxes, but excluding shipping. This equates pretty close to the retail price of the 50ml in the US.

I've only ordered from Essenza Nobile. I don't know what their shipping policy is like now, but it used to be free for a certain amount (although it was high like $800 or something). Shipping takes forever, but if you're ordering a lot, it's a good way to save money on what you would have otherwise paid in the US.

I bought the Nishane sample pack from Twisted Lilly. First one I’ve tried is Florane. Smells like roses to me but not overpowering. Real nice.

FWIW, Maison Francis Kurkdjian is way cheaper if you order direct from their European store. Works out to ~$150 for a 70ml. Free and very fast shipping, too.

Good to know. I've samples a handful of Kurkdjian's frags and so far have found them all to be, well, meh.
