Penhalgions Blasted Heath. It's an aromatic marine scent so you know what it smells like. It's supposed to evoke images of the rugged British coastline. Perfect for our snowy day.

Just sprayed the dark knight by francesca biachini.

So ive mentioned before my palate is lretty unrefined. But I've picked up that certain houses have at least a typical track kr whatever metaphor we want to use. It's not that everything smells the same it's that they all head in a similar direction.

Anyway this has many of the same elements of the other biachini scents ive worn: thick, warm, powdery and sweet aromas. But at a distance there is a little lemony or maybe it's the beeswax but there's a fresh and very clean note that i wish cut through the scent rather than be on top of everything. Like, it's that great smell when you open a box of dishwasher detergent. Anyway that's my thoughts.

Just trimmed back my hair and beard today so a classic gentleman's fougère like Cerruti 1881 seemed appropriate. Very underrated and good value fragrance IMHO. And then I heard that Nino Cerruti had died, and it seemed even more appropriate. RIP.

That one smells decent, but at the same time, I think it smells cheap for its asking price.

Today is Christian Dior Feve Delicieuse.

Habit Rouge.

I see why you guys like it.

Also, I don't know if my nose picks these up more or if you guys just post more about powdery/lavendery scents but I always get powdery/musky/lavendery notes on basically everything.

Powdery usually equates to Iris...

I’m one of the only people who think habit rouge is ho hum. It’s still better than most but at the end of the “good” classic Geurlains
