Honestly, I think the house is a bit underwhelming. I think you can find better at those prices. And if you DO go with AdP, I would not pay retail as they can be found very easily through discounters online.

For instance, retail for Colonia is $175, but it can be found easily online for less than $83.
How timely...
Costco mailer I got yesterday lists Mandorlo di Sicilia 5oz for $50,
and Chinotto di Liguria for $65.

Acqua di Sale.

This reminds me of a fragrance I already own that I've posted about "The Beach" from a shaving soap manufacturer I like. Acqua di Sale is a bit more complex but these are both basically headed the same way. To be honest, I think the biggest difference between them is that I can wear this one to work. The other I feel I can only wear on weekends when it is really hot. Which, at least for me, works out to roughly 60 times a year.

Today is Vilhelm Parfumerie Chicago High. This is pretty different from the rest of the Vilhelm line, and I really like it. It's not as cloying and/or as heavy as a lot of other tobacco fragrances.

Really feeling like fall today here in Nor Cal with an early season rain forecast this evening.

Vintage Chanel Pour Monsieur EDT Concentree is the perfect combination of a refined overall warm accord, contrasted with a brightness and a touch of spice.
That's kind of why I went with Guerlain Habit Rouge. It's both citrusy and warm.

Habit Rouge is one of the all time greats.

Yesterday it was Mandarino di Amalfi. Usually not a big fan of TF. His scents are to perfumery what mp3s are to music. Too loud, everything dialed up and so compressed that nuances disappear. But Mandarino is nice. Dont get a lot of mandarin though, mainly lemon, grapefruit and orange blossom. I could swear that there is neroli in there as well, but apparently not. Problem is that there is an abundance of great citruses out there so is Mandarino really worth the money?

Today is Canadian Gentleman. A new favourite. So cozy, perfect autumn scent.
