I typically like larger bottles, but no larger than about 100ml. I find the larger bottles aesthetically more pleasing usually and they typically offer the best value. That said, I have enough fragrances now that it probably doesn’t make much sense to do so.

Yes, if I really like a fragrance it gets a 100ml. I have one or two that I initially bought as 50ml, but I'm intending to upgrade into larger bottles.

Heeley Cardinal today. Really starting to like this one. One of the most wearable incense fragrances I've tried. Linen, rose and fresh spices makes it airier than most incenses.

Heretic - Poltergeist today. One of the strongest scents I’ve ever used, a half spray is all you need. Wonderfully complex and robust, though not everyone’s cup of tea.

I really enjoy Sel Marin (been through 2 samples) and am considering getting a Heeley gift set, any others that people like?

Sel Marin is his masterpiece, but I also really like Esprit du Tigre (like a cosy version of Tiger Balm), Note de Yuzu (fresh and original citrus with a hint of salt, pine and white musk) and Cardinal. I've read good things about his new frag, Zeste de Gingembre, which I really like to try. Ginger is notoriously difficult to do well in perfume, so it would be interesting to see if Heeley has managed.

Gucci Guilty also has some potential, as far as concerned, the rest not so much

Really loving Musk Lave. I also picked up War & Peace II, wow, it is incredible. Dark, resinous, dirty, but also a musky sweetness under it all.
Nice!

My first bottle of ML showed up with a defective sprayer. Just got my second bottle yesterday and was planning on keeping it unopened, but now will have to try it out to find out if it's sprayer is crap too. Have contacted ALD and they will offer replacements.

No love for Cuir Plein Fleur? I find that one to be quite special: leather and violet roughened up with a note of toasted cumin.

Haven’t tried it. Sounds as if I should!

Wearing Eucris today and tomorrow in remembrance of the first, true James Bond in film: Sir Sean Connery.

Nothing else provokes memory and attitude quite like a fragrance. It's one of the finest expressions of emotion in a wardrobe, in my opinion.

Excellent choice. I actually wore my sample of Floris No. 89. Such a gorgeous scent. I initially didn't care too much for it, but wearing it more lately has made it click. Very classic, elegant, gentle, and well-mannered.

RIP Mr. Connery.
