1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

SOTD Amouage Opus VII. Love this stuff, but what truly is fragrance love. I suppose you define what fragrances you love by which ones you'll refill as soon as its finished. I can say bottles I'll always keep on deck are Amouage Epic Man and CDG Hinoki. I saw my Hinoki was almost drained this morning and it made me sad. Granted, I wear Hinoki more at home lounging around than I do in public. It's my personal pleasure to wear it.

I'm not PCK1, but I'll weigh in: it's a bright, summery floral with a prominent boozy note at the top. It's got an interesting grainy texture that I usually associate with saffron. As it dries down, it becomes more ambery, so that it almost approaches being an oriental. I've gotten a good number of compliments on it.

Today, au bureau: Dior Eau Sauvage vintage Edt. Mmm, the oakmoss in this one is just terrific.

Tonight: Serge Lutens, Fleurs de Citronnier. If you like orange blossom (I love it) this is a winner! Better, to my mind, than Fleur d'Oranger.

I really like Champaca Absolute...but I do often debate whether it is too feminine...I think I may give mine away...as I don't wear it very often for this reason.

It's one I really only ever wear in the privacy of my own home.

SOTE - Tom Ford Noir de Noir

I prefer this to Champaca...its still got the great floral from the rose...but is more masculine...alot of gourmand going on too

For my SOTE, I am taking the baton from PCK1 and running with it: Tom Ford Neroli Portofino.

Has anyone tried the two new TF scents in the Neroli Portofino series? I haven't yet, mainly because that's not my favorite genre. But I'm sure I will eventually because I try everything by TF.

I haven't tried the 2 new ones. But the other day I did try NP Eau Fraiche. Which was so close to the EdP, I'm not sure I'd be able to tell them apart, had I tried them simultaneously (which I did not). I got a good long run from the EF too, just like with the EdP.

Speaking of TF, here's a PSA for anyone near Philly. I was down there yesterday and the "Cosmetics Company" store at Franklin Mills had lots of TF private label stuff, all priced at $168 for 50ml. I can't remember everything, but they definitely had Neroli Portofino (original one), Azure Lime, Oud Wood, Champaca and a few others, in addition to all of the non-private label stuff. They did not have Italian Cypress or Tuscan Leather.

Pre-shower: Platinum Egoiste. Haven't worn this in forever. Ain't gonna lie, this is not really my "cup of tea."
    SOTD: Une Rose Vermeille

Last night: Odeur 71 - it toggles back and forth from the stems of cut flowers to the smell of a brand-new old CRT television that has been turned on for eight hours.

    Today: Fate Man.

Creed Bois Du Portugal, which actually works quite well in the heat.
