Ha, I wore L'homme Sage last week. Lately I've been avoiding the new stuff, wearing the older, neglected bottles: Signoricci, Yatagan, Sequoia, Pampelune, AdP, others. Though I did pick up a bottle of DvT's Erotique recently and found it to be a surprisingly good sandlewood.

I hope Thomas keeps posting here in the future!

I'm wearing Violette Fumée as my SOTE.

Yum, I really like that one you all put me on to.

I like this one too. May make that my SOTE this evening.

    Hi HORNS! Thanks L'inc!

Today, Guerlain Vetiver, 70's version, for an overcast and humid day.

Pre-shower: Encens Mythique d'Orient by Guerlain. I've tended to underestimate this one because it's in the same series as Rose Nacrée du Désert, which is among my very favorite fragrances.
SOTD: Portrait of a Lady. I never underestimate this one.

Has anyone had the opportunity to try the new Yohji fragrances? How are they? Very curious about the 3 men's fragrances: Yohji Homme, Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme, and Yohji Yamamoto His Love Story.

There is a fragrance called Black Orchid Voile de Fleur by Tom Ford. I mention it because it is my SOTE.

Yesterday: walked through Saks and sprayed on Les Nuits d'Hadrien, which I haven't owned for well over a year now. Good stuff. Not as peppery as it used to be but very good.

Tea for Two. God damnit. I love this scent. Why haven't I stocked up when it was discontinued?

Does anyone know where to source some for reasonable prices? I won't pay 54 USD for 8 ml @ STC.

Honestly. It's so good. Maybe they discontinue Dzing! next? Would be equally absurd.

Pre-shower: Velvet Gardenia. I'm learning to appreciate gardenia more and more.
SOTD: Rose Cut by Ann Gerard. This is brand new; it's by Bertrand Duchaufour. It's a bright, boozy rose that dries down into a sweet vanilla and benzoin base. You also get a fairly prominent patchouli throughout. I'd describe it as pretty or nice, but that's not quite what I want out of a fragrance. Still, it's definitely good.

Have you tried Mugler Pure Havane? I found that to be similar.

I haven't yet. Noted. Given the name, I didn't think it'd be similar.

But if anyone knows any sources for Tea for Two, I'd be glad.
