1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

spent quite a while decanting some Lavender Palm today, so that's pretty much all I can smell right now. I'm covered. My desk is covered. My room is full of this smell. It's everywhere.

    (Kirk voice) PAAAALLLLMMMM!!!!!!!

Pre-shower: Vraie Blonde. Like 100% Love, this has a fairly prominent vomity note that I'd rather not smell, given my druthers.
    SOTD: Patchouli Imperial

I see references to TF. Assuming that is an acronym for Tom Ford, could someone please recommend a TF EDT similar to Chanel Bleu?

    Cheers,

Yes, TF is an abbreviation for Tom Ford. I think the closest you'll find to Bleu de Chanel in the Tom Ford lineup is going to be Tom Ford for Men. That's not in the Private Blend series, so it'll be easier to find than a lot of the ones that have been mentioned in SOTD lately.

Speaking of TF, I am wearing Black Orchid as my SOTE.

Have any of you had the chance to try the new Velvet Orchid yet? I'm looking forward to it. Also, I'm keen to try the new Malle Eau de Magnolia.

Imma hop on the TF train and wear something I haven't worn in ages: White Patchouli. Just applied it and I'm not digging it a lot so far.

Pre-shower: Divine L'Homme Infini. Divine has been off the SOTD radar for a bit. Their masculines are classic, perfect for a professional environment without being boring.
    SOTD: Une Rose de Kandahar.

I don't like it (maybe it's turned?.. smells really.. weird and sharp). Scrubbed it off. And replaced it with something far more pleasant: Purple Patchouli.

It was only at the last minute that I decided not to make Purple Patchouli my SOTD.

White Patchouli is one of those scents that I'm sometimes in the mood for and sometimes not. It is sharp and aggressive, and some days I scrub it off too.

Did you guys know that the working name of Sahara Noir was Golden Tears? That's a really bad name!

Lys Fume was Lys Malice, which is pretty neat. and Jonquille de Nuit was Me! Me! Me!, which is also pretty cool. I think Cafe Rose was Coffee Rose.
