I just smelled Platinum Egoiste earlier, this is such a good fragrance but I'm a bit worried it smells a bit dated; perfect for it's era. Is it still wearable and if it is indeed dated is there a suitable replacement?

Yup. I lost a bet on the Rams-Vikings game with deadly7. The winner got to choose the loser's avatar. deadly7 required me to choose a picture with my cat, which was not a very onerous requirement at all!

I'm on the fence about it. I still enjoy it, but wore it non-stop for a couple of years - so to me it's evocative of those days. Alternatively you can try YSL Live Jazz for something largely similar but without the metallic sheen.

Caron 3rd Man today. I rarely wear this - it usually feels too...not sure what. Conspicuous? It's not necessarily loud, but I often feel a bit self conscious out in public with this. It's a beautiful scent though and I'm sure other things I wear come across more boldly to others, so it's probably just some peculiar emotional reaction I have with this one.

I just bought Floris Amaryllis as a gift, it is a very nice perfume.

I could use some suggestions/ thoughts on everyone's favourite scent for the office is. I'm thinking of picking up some Penhaligon Sartorial
