1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Just bought some vintage M7 last night. It's getting very hard to find.

I thought it was OK actually. Suitable for the office, and pretty good longevity (>12 hours on the wrist). I just thought it was a tad honey-sweet for my taste.

I agree with you on the similarity between the two. Both are beautiful but the Diaghilev is VERY opulent like you said.

I smell it a little bit differently on different wearings. Sometimes I experience it like you described it. Other times I find it a spicy and gingerbready, which I like better.

Yea, I didn't think it was worth the price. I thought it lacked subtlety as well when compared to Mitsouko

Interesting. Might try it again then. My wife hated it though, despite somewhat liking Mitsouko.

does anyone ever notice their desk covered in samples, bags of samples in every corner, boxes of bottles in every cupboard, hours and posts logged on fragrance related sites, etc and suddenly go, what the hell happened to me, I used to be so normal!? My desk is covered in samples, I have bags everywhere, literally hundreds of samples and bottles and I'm like what the hell is going on here. I used to own Blue Jeans and wear it once a week and was a happy boy. Now I'm chasing smelly unicorns.

Oh, SotD = Idole de Lubin. I want to own the bottle. Have tested the scent 3-5 times and it's got all the right ingredients but longevity and projection are just way too damn low.

I like Idole de Lubin too. Haven't noticed the poor longevity though. I'll check next time I'm wearing it.

I'm another Idole fan. I went FB on the EDT at a sale last year, and I have a sample of the EDP. At the same sale this year I punted on some Galaad, just because I'd enjoyed Idole so much.

I don't know why, but I've really been craving florals strongly lately. Of course florals have always been my favorites, but I'm especially keen on them as of late.

SOTE is Olene, which is a magnificent jasmine.
