There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Of course, I cannot tell the gender of the posters here, but I see references to women's fragrances. Is it common for men to wear women's fragrances and/or vice versa? Pardon my ignorance.

    Cheers,

It is very common for men to wear what is marketed as female fragrances. Life is too short and many fragrances are too beautiful to pass up on because of marketing or gender preconceptions.

Orange Star today. I've been wearing my Tauer sample set over the last week or so. n addition to Orange Star, I've sampled Reverie au Jardin, Incense Extreme, Zeta and Noontide Petals. I think OS is my favourite, although it gets right up my wife's nose.

It is strong/loud but I perceived the sweetness as "richness".

I wore CP twice this week. Both times felt I had to wash it off after a couple hours, it was so powerful. Of course, the frag was still there after the washing both times; and, so diluted, I actually kind of enjoyed it. And so diluted, it was still right at the edge of too sweet, for me. I can see where people would be attracted to the richness.

FYI, the best way to remove a fragrance from your body is rubbing alcohol - not soap and water.

Today: Parfumerie Generale Iris Oriental. You like orris? You want to know what orris is like and why it is of great importance? Then get a sample of this. Also for those who don't get what is the big deal about Dior Homme (I sure as hell don't) should try this so there can be some reconciliation between you and the orris note.

I am bewearing Kingdom today. (I think Kingdom requires a special verb that conveys two different senses.)

I never have liked Timbuktu after years of sampling. Every time I get a strong celery-like smell running the length of the fragrance.

The thing that really caught my attention, aside from some glowing reviews, is that he uses skunk as a note in one scent. I've been kicking around the idea of taking some classes and trying to make a scent or two, and skunk is one of the notes I believe to be a great unexplored territory for new scents. There are skunky smells in body odor, cannabis, beer, puppy breath - it's in a lot of places that strike different emotional chords.
