Ah, yes the blogs and groups et al. But yes, L'Inc was right re: woman-centered so that may be a big part of it.

    today, Acqua di Parma.

Tilda Swinton Like This. I'm in Antwerp this week, and it seems like I can't walk ten feet without going past a perfume shop.

I'm wearing Hermès Rocabar for the day. Very nice. I especially love the opening (which most people in the basenotes-reviews aren't so fond of).

Why do hands on basenotes just have four fingers?

Is Antwerp like Bruges, and are you like Colin Ferrell for the week?

I had to run to Google to figure out your reference. I see that Ralph Fiennes was in the movie too; I've had lots of people tell me I look like him, so maybe I will be like his character in In Bruges.

I don't remember a lot anymore about the movie, but I remember that I really liked it.

For the evening I wore YSL - Rive Gauche. Nice (a little too soapy though). Interested to see what the pour homme smells like.

Creed Original Santal from a sample... hopefully i can do a split soon and own a Creed fragrance. It's too expensive in smaller bottles!

Hey all, long long time... Currently wearing MMM Untitled on the left and V&R Antidote on the right.

The most interesting thing I've tested recently was Arquist's Anima Dulcis... sort of a thick honeyed vanilla cocoa chilli cinnamon thing...minimal projection, fairly strong longevity.

I have a bunch of bottles I'm looking to sell ideally, though open to swaps... list posted below:
Tom Ford - 50ml @ 99% retail bottle (no box) Neroli Portofino, 50ml decant Black Orchid Voile de Fleur
ByKilian - up to 150ml Taste of Heaven, up to 50ml Back to Black, up to 30ml Prelude to Love
Serge Lutens - 45ml/50ml bottle of Bas de Soie, 40ml/50ml Fille en Aiguilles, Serge Noir 2x15ml official atomizer w/ pouch @ 90% (x2), Clair de Musc 2x5ml official samples
MPG - 80-85/90ml Jardin Du Nil
Stephaniede Saint-Aignan - Un The au Sahara, 50ml @99% no box
    06130 - Lentisque, 100ml @ 95% no box
    Montale - Oud Red Flowers 50ml @ 90% no bag/box
Andy Tauer - Carillon Pour Un Ange EdP, 15ml @99%, no box
Etat Libre D'Orange (ELDO) - Antiheroes 50ml @50%, bo box
Parfums de Nicolai - Mimosaique EdP 100ml @95%, no box
Jo Malone - 100ml @20% Amber & Lavender, no cap or box
Hermes - 15ml official sample Jardin Sur Le Toit

I went to an Abercrombie and tried on Fierce. I really like it. I think Fierce will be my next fragrance purchase.

    Cafe Rose.

I'll be checking out some of the perfume shops today. A lot of them have very good selections of niche fragrances.
